The Golden Ratio has been (and is) interpreted in different ways, depending on the period, country, religion etc.:
The Golden Section as “Universal Harmonic Ratio“

The mathematical concept of proportion, meant to relation of parts, has been introduced first by Pitagora (Pythagoras of Samos, a great mathematician, mystic and scientist), who combines balance with mathematic.
Pythagoras and his followers (the Pythagoreans), re-created the composing principles of musical harmony to obtain a [...]

Ancient populations (far apart in distance and time) are linked one to another by a mistery, upon which archaeologists, astronomers, mathematicians, artists, psychologists, historians etc. are still working: the Golden Section.
The Golden Section, also called Golden Ratio, is usually defined as it follows: “two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio between the sum of those quantities and the larger one is the same as the ratio between [...]

Hello! My name is Bacco (in English Liber or Bacchus) and I’m the god of wine, according to the Roman classical mythology. I’m also know as Dionysus, one of the twelve Olympians of the Greek mythology.
I’m famous because of my madness, compared with the other Olympians. I’m a a red-hot womanizer. That’s why I’m still in fashion. Artists love me.
My present residence is in the greatest museums all over the [...]

I’m back from my xmas hols. I’ve been in Cannes & MonteCarlo (Côte d’Azur / the French Riviera), in a great and unusual hotel called “3.14 hotel”. Very nice one.
I really enjoy my stay cuz of the hotel philosophy: the number Pi (π), the Chakra, the importance of peacefulness, sex, colors, sounds, fragrances and flavours. Very interesting and relaxing.
They surely spent a high budget in communication. AND THAT IS WONDERFUL! [...]

Here is just a series of shots I made at the beginning of this blog while working on the main menu images.
I’ve been inspired while eating in front of my laptop and I saw that black-sexy cable smiling at me ( Hey I’m not joking! He was really smiling!!!).

The logarithmic spiral is everywhere.
The logarithmic spiral is math.
The logarithmic spiral is art.
The logarithmic spiral is ever-moving.
The logarithmic spiral is past and future.
The logarithmic spiral is life.
I hate calculations. I love math.
The logarithmic spiral is everywhere and it’s beautiful. Unconsciously.
It’s called the Golden Spiral, and it’s model of excellence, symbol of eternity.

I’ve ever considered my self a great photographer, but it doesn’t means that my shots are not interesting.
Everbody can see an object, but each of you will see it in a different way. That’s foreseeable! That which I consider important in photography, is giving the right relief to a detail. When I talk about a detail, I mean part of an object or, even more interesting, part of an entire [...]

A few months ago, I was talking with Maghis (software developer of DomainsBot), a friend of mine, in front of a limoncello’s glass.
He told me: “Hey Mamby! I read a great article about market and web standards on Joel Spolsky’s blog! Have a look on it!”
Me: “Joel? Who’s Joel?”
Maghis: “A great software developer. He has been the program manager [...]

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
I decided to write my first CSS and xHTML post on this one, instead of deleting it. You may will ask: “why are you doing it? “. Well, just cuz the content of it it’s thinly geek. I love the Wordpress developers’s two-way sentences!
The famous Worpress tagline is: CODE IS POETRY (I don’t know exactly where [...]
